What's even worse is those authors who blackmail their own readers by threatening not to post if they don't get what they consider to be enough reviews. How dare you? People who read our fic shouldn't have to be threatened, let them read the fic and decide for themselves if they want to review. Personally if I come across this in a fic it immediately makes me stop reading. It pains me even more when it's decent authors who do it because I would hope that they recognise their worth on their own. I understand, reviews are a great boost to self-confidence and sometimes it can be disheartening to get little or no feedback but you shouldn't need them to write so please, authors, please stop, it's so off-putting and irritating and occasionally infuriating. Don't put your readers off, let them make their own desicions. Please? [/rant] I'll get off my high horse now I've let off steam. Thank you xx |

At the moment I'm concentrating on my original fic and trying to get my books published, had one rejection so far... I feel like a proper writer now LOL Anyway, I've added a Twitter widget to the index page of my website if anyone still has an interest in what I'm doing they can follow me there although some of the comments maybe a little ambiguous when refering to my characters... yes I'm writing another book at the mo :sigh: it's never ending! Hope everyone's doing well and getting their heart's desires in life xxx |

I would just like to say thank you to everyone who's left a comment on the fics, I love you guys, you've done wonders for my self-confidence :) At the moment, I'm mostly concentrating on my original fic, although having said that I've recently got a bit obsessed with Stagate: Atlantis but I'll only be posting any fics I write for that fandom on my site. Oh and that's probably the best place to read the VAM fics, they're in order, complete and there's a couple that I never posted on here ;) This isn't a goodbye message btw, I just realised how it might read, just a yeah not really around much at the moment message :) Thanks again lovely people! PS If you've asked me to friend you I'll try and get it done soon, again, I've barely been on LJ or emails for months so I just haven't seen the requests x |

If you want to keep reading Haunted, then friend me and I'll consider friending you, I'm sorry for the drastic measures but this fic is my baby, I write it every day, it works its way into every facet of my life and I have worked *damn* hard on it, so I will *not* tolerate being ripped off. eta: I have had an apology but I'm feeling a little vulnerable right now, I'm sure you'll appreciate why I'm doing it if I continue with the friends-lock for a bit |
